Reflections from the Frog Pond

Cheers from sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico! No frog pond here, but I have been on sabbatical this year in the Land of Enchantment. Sabbatical has been an interesting idea for me to contemplate. While I haven’t actually been off, I have been looking at the company in new ways. After having some downtime in the desert, I realized there were two key areas where Sage Portfolio Group needed my leadership.
The first area was for me to create a new sales program called Deep Selling. It is a program that keeps relationships at the center and teaches fundamental skills for how to nurture relationships. It is built on my years as a top producing sales person combined with my 10 years of sales and leadership coaching. I am proud of the work I have been doing on this program and can see how it will change the way that I do my work over the next couple of years.
The second area I focused was our marketing. We have tended to grow organically and while that has been effective for us in the past, we want the people who are looking for a great company like ours to be able to find us! So we have launched a new website, have created a very cool organizational assessment, have a new marketing plan and a Public Relations firm and have decided to change some of the ways we communicate with our clients. Because of this we are offering several new ways to interact with Sage Portfolio Group, and are fine-tuning some of the old ways.

We now have two newsletters to meet the varying needs of our clients. As loyal readers you have been signed up for both and we hope you will enjoy them. There is an opt out on every one if you aren’t interested in receiving them. If you know someone who might enjoy them, please pass them on to that person and invite them to sign up. We have accounts on Twitter, Linked In and Facebook. We will be using these to communicate with the people who are interested in our interesting development company. My coaching clients always tell me they hear my voice in their head after their sessions. I’ll be using Twitter for sales tips and ideas and to be a little positive voice on the shoulder of my followers on Twitter.
