The sales process has a variety of tasks and skills the sales person must manage to be successful. Sales coaching gets beyond the busy day to day of sales and helps the sales person work at the core of the actions that can be taken to maximize sales success. Sales coaching identifies goals and provides accountability for moving toward success. In some situations the sales manager, coach and sales professional meet together at the beginning of the coaching engagement to discuss priorities and goals for the coaching relationship.
